This presentation will show how Survey123 is able to be integrated with numerous apps with the use of Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow). We will gain a brief understanding of Power Automate (how to find compatible apps, available tasks it can perform, use of webhooks). Finally we will see an example of Power Automate using Microsoft Outlook with submitted Survey123 data.

Presenter: Tom Maggard, Manager GIS Services, Banning Engineering

Tom Maggard is the Manager of GIS Services for Banning Engineering and has over 13 years of GIS experience. Tom is a Past President (2018) of the Indiana Geographic Information Council and has been a board member since 2016. Tom is a noted presenter in GIS services and innovation, having given numerous presentations in recent years. Prior to joining Banning Engineering, Tom led the City of Greenwood’s GIS programs which included a first of its kind implementation of a local community planning permit being available on INBiz. This implementation project was nationally recognized with the 2019 Cityworks’ Excellence in Online Practice award.
