The next ArcGIS Pro Support Group meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday December 6, from 2 to 3pm ET. Jill has agreed to show off the report functionality in ArcGIS Pro (thank you Jill!) and then we'll go around the group and get updates from everyone. I look forward to seeing you all then!

Below is a summary of the December 6 meeting:

Jill Flachskam provided a great overview of the Report functionality in ArcGIS Pro. Marianne asked if there was an option to include a map, and there is (see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/reports/add-a-map.htm, HT Jeff Motz). It also looks like it is possible to add additional pages, share reports with colleagues, and format the field values.
After Jill's presentation, everyone introduced themselves and provided a brief overview of what they are working on. There were some definite trends:
- Many state employees are currently working through the move to Portal at the state. Many datasets are currently stored in SDE but need to be moved to Portal. This transition will take time.
- There was some discussion about topology functionality and tools in Pro. Ben suggested establishing topology at the geodatabase level vs. the map level. Trohn also recommended using some of the out-of-the-box tools to fix the issues, such as the Align tool.
- A few folks also had issues with Pro crashing, especially after some Windows update. One issue is Pro crashing when changing symbology in 2.8 and 2.9. Our next meeting is scheduled for February 7 at 2pm ET. Phil Bernard will provide an overview of what he learned through a BIM MOOC. Please let me know if you have topic ideas!
