Hello GIS Community!

Registration is now open for our annual IU/Bloomington GIS Day social event: https://events.iu.edu/event/2021102-gis-day

Taking place November 12, from 4pm-6pm at Friendly Beasts Cider Company, this event is open to the wider GIS community. In the past this has been a great opportunity for practitioners, students, and academics to connect over our shared love for maps and GIS.

The event will be a casual social gathering with free cider and charcuterie, mappy trivia, a community-driven data visualization project, and lightning round talks (email Yuri Kim for more info on the talks!).
