Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is a volunteer initiative to support and provide overall guidance and direction to:

  • Serve as a communications resource (technical writing, marketing, and networking technology support) to all IGIC committees and workgroups
  • Provide marketing and outreach coordination for IGIC
  • Maintain IGIC identity standards.
  • Assist in maintaining IndianaMap identity standards and social media policy
  • Establishing and maintaining media distribution channels and contacts.
  • Support current implementation of the Cvent Event and Membership Management modules and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the, websites to take advantage of new web technology and better integrate with our social media efforts.
  • Research, test and recommend communication technology to support IGIC.
