Presenter: Dr. Aileen Buckley is a research cartographer and senior GIS engineer on the Living Atlas of the World team at Esri. Her work focuses on determining and sharing best practices for mapping and analysis. This leads her to publish widely and present world-wide on many aspects of mapping and GIS. She holds a PhD in Geography from Oregon State University. Aileen is a former president of the Cartography and Geographic Information Society, and she is actively involved with the International Cartographic Association as the lead delegate for the United States and chair of the Working Group on Ethics in Cartography.
